Watusi

Watusi has soft, long, exceptionally dense, dark brown fiber on a compact, correct frame. She has substantial bone, is well balanced, and has a striking head. Phenotypically, she checks all the boxes.

Beyond this there are two other attributes that really make her a standout. First, her genotype. Check out her ARI Registration. Watusi is the daughter of the well-known and 14 time bannered Stylish Enlightenment. Her grey genetics go back generations on both her dam and sire’s side. Her dam, Black Lace, is a Quixotic daughter and a Quetzal grand daughter. Watusi’s Pedigree has black on both the top and bottom. Further, her dam has produced a lovely silver-grey male, a junior herdsire, Silver Strike, who will be added to Ebfort’s stud row. Pay close attention, black and grey breeders.

Watusi’s other attribute is her calm, easy-going personality - a known heritable trait. She is a delightful alpaca - easy to work with and a good herd mate. No rodeos here on herd health day.
